HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT, AMENDMENT 1 ENVIRONMENTAL REPORT - OPERATING LICENSE STAGE, AMENDMENT 1 CERTIFICATION OF DISTRIBUTION Attached is an affidavit certifying that distribution of Amendment 1 to the Hope Creek Generating Station Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) and Amendment 1 to the Environmental Report - Operating License Stage, have been made in accordance with 10 CFR 2.101 and Enclosure 1 to the NRC acceptance review letter dated June 23, 1983.

We updated the Enclosure 1 distribution list to reflect the current officials and addresses of the orgcnizations speci-fled in the distribution list. The attached affidavit con-tains the updated information. We did not issue Amendment 1 to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources because they returned the Operating License (OL) application documents we sent them July 8, 1983, and informed us by the attached letter they did not want custody of any OL applica-tion documents.

We are returning to you four boxes of OL Application, the FSAR and the ER-OL for Hope Creek Generating Station. The FSAR is Controlled Copy No.155; the FR, Controlled Copy No.165. The documents were sent to Mr. William Cook, Of fice of the Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources.

Although we appreciate this courtesy / requirement, we do not believe that our interest as that of a state in the ingestion EPZ warrants the custody and maintenance of these vast documents. The documents would be better used elsewhere.
