Dear Mr. Vassallo:
By letter dated June 20, 1983 (Serial: LAP-83-233), Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) agreed to submit proposed Technical Specification (TS) revisions relating to the main turbine bypass system and the feedwater/ main turbine trip system actuation instrumentation within 30 days of Brunswick-1 start-up. Due to unanticipated delays in completing the Brunswick-1 start-up testing and the resulting additional workload placed on plant engineering and operations personnel, CP&L has been unable to complete preparation and review of the subject TS revisions. Therefore, CP&L has rescheduled the submittal of the necessary TS revisions to September 30, 1983. We will continue to inform the NRR Project Manager of the status of the TS revisions.
