Your letter of May 6, 1983, requested two deviations from the NFPA 720-1975,

" Proprietary Protective Signaling Systems". Additional Information supporting your request was provided in letters dated July 12, and August 1,1983. Based on our review of your request we conclude that the two deviations from NFPA-72D are acceptable. A suaanary of our evaluation is enclosed.
