As a result of the inspection conducted on May 3-6 and 10-13, 1983, and in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy, 10 CFR Part 2 Appendix C, 47 FR 9887 (March 9, 1982), the following deviation was identified:
During an inspection conducted on March 7-10, 1983 and documented in NRC Inspection Report No. 50-528/83-06, Arizona Public Service Company management made a commitment to "'... establish the methods to be used for review and approval of Station Manual procedures and reissue Procedure 70AC-0ZZO2 by April 15, 1983...."
Contrary to this commitment, a revision of Procedure 70AC-0ZZ02 (although reviewed by the Plant Review Board on April 15, 1983).was not approved l
and issued until May 5, 1983.
You are hereby requested to submit to this office within thirty days of the date of this notice, a written statement or explanation regarding the above deviation, describing corrective steps taken, the results achieved (or corrective steps that are planned), and the date when corrective action will be completed.
