BOLT TORQUES - BLRD-50-438/81-56, BLRD-50-439/81 SIXTH INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector R. V. Crlenjak on August 24, 1981 in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR BLN NER 8111. This was followed by our interim reports dated September 24 and December 7,1981 and March 10, June 7, and December 13, 1982. This is our sixth interim report. TVA is still reviewing the subject deficiency and in the process, has received funding for fbrther study in nondestructive examination and corrosion research associated with high-strength fasteners from Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). We expect to submit our next report by October 26, 1984. We consider 10 CFR Part 21 applicable to this deficiency. This deficiency has also been reported for Watts Bar and Yellow Creek Nuclear Plants as NCR GEN NEB 8201.
