APPLICAPION FOR AMENDMENP PO OPERAPING LICENSE Pii r s uan't to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the tied Yor< Poder Autnority, as holder of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, nereoy applies for an amendment to tne Tecnnical Specifications contained in Appendix A of this license.
The proposed changes revise operating limits and surveillance requirements associated dita Scram Disenarge Volame system modifications designed to improve hydraulic coupling.
Tnese long-term modifications have oeen undertaken to compl/ ditn tne design and performance criteria of the NRC's Generic Safety Evaluation Report, "SdR Scram Disenarge System," dated December 1,
1980.
The modifications are being made during the ongoing Reload $/ Cycle 6 refueling outage.
Tne proposed changes are Attachmert I to this application.
The Safety Evaluation for tne proposed cnanges is Attacnment II.
Attachment III is a supporting description of hod each of the criteria of the NRC's Generic Safet/ Evaluation Report is being met for the FitzPatrick Scram Discharge Volume system.
