TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY DOCKET NO. 50-327 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT 1 AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE Amendment No. 30 License No. DPR-77 1.
The Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has found that:
A.
The filing (which is being handled by the Comission as an application) by Tennessee Valley Authority (the licensee) dated June 23,1982, as revised by letter dated January 6,1983, complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act) and the Comission's rules and regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; 5.
Tne facility will operate in conformity with the application, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Cor: ission; C.
Tnere is reasonable assurance (i) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted withcut endangering the health and safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be concucted in compliance with the Co=ission's regulations; i
i D.
The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the comon defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.
The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Comission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.
2.
Accordingly, Facility Operating License No. OPR-77 is hereby amended by reformatting the existing Paragraph 2.E. to read as follows:

Physical Protection The licensee shall maintain in effect and fully implement all provisions of the Commission approved physical security plan, guard training and qualification plan, an.d safeguards contingency plan, including amendments made pursuant to the authority of 10 CFR 50.54(p). The approveu plans, which contain information protected under 10 CFR 73.1, are entitled "Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Physical Security Plan," dated May 15,1982 (letter cated l
June 23,1982) with revision dated August 17,1982 (letter dated January 6,1983); "Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Security Personnel Train-ing and Qualification Plan," dated May 1,1982 (letter dated July 19, 1982); and the "Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Safeguards Contingency Plan," cated March 1,1979, as revised September 1,1979; April 15,1980, December 21, 1980, and March 30, 1981.
Notwithstanding the statement in Section 9.1 of the physical security plan, the licensee shall maintain positive access control over containment in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 73.55(d)(8).
3.
This license amendment is effective 90 days after its date of issuance.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has found that:
A.
The filing (which is being handled by the Commission as 'an l
appl.ication) by Tennessee Valley Authority (the licensee) dated June 23,1982, as evised by letter dated January 6,1983, complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act) and the Commission's rules and regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; l

The facility will operate in conformity with the application, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Commission;
