7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY C0 feil'SSION DOCKET NOS. 50-327 AND 50-328 TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NOS. OPR-77 AND OPR-79 The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 30 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-77 and Amendment No.
19 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-79 issued to the Tennessee Valley Authority (the licensee), which revises the licenses for operation of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, (the facility) located in Hamilton County, Tennessee. The amendments are effective 90 days after the date of issuance and are to be implemented in accordance with the provisions of 1S CFR 73.40(b) and 10 CFR 73.55(b)(4).
The amendments revise license conditions to incluce the Commission-approved Guard Training and Qualification Plan and the Safeguards Contingency Plan as part of the licenses.
The licensee's filing, which has been handled oy the Commission as an application, complies wit'h the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amenoed (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the

Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license acendments. Prior public notice of these amendments was not

required since the amendments do not involve a significant hazarcs consideration.

will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR $51.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in' connection with issuance of these amendments.
s The licensee's filings dated June 23, 1982, consist of Safeguards Infomation required to be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21.
