The Instrumentation and Control Systems Branch of the NRC staff has reviewed the Commonwealth Edison Company's (Ceco) submittals concerning Generic Letter 83-28. Item 2.2.1, Equipment Classification Program for all safety related couponents for. Braidwood and Byron Stations. The enclosed Safety Evaluation Reports (Enclosure 1and2)documentourconcurrencewiththeTechnical Evaluation Reports, EGG-NTA-7249 (Enclosure 3 and 4) and also finds Ceco's responses for this item to be acceptable. Therefore, this item is considered closed for Braidwood and Byron Stations.
