335 -4 Governor of New York Executive Chambers Albany, New' York, 12224
Dear Governor Cuomo,
On or about SeptenA:er 25th,1985, I sent a letter to you (copy encio, sed) wherein I asked you to consider granting me protection under the states recently enacted Whistle Blower Protection Hessure.
To date, almost eight months later I have recieved only a token response from your Assistant Counsel-Alese Gray, stating that a fuller response was being prepared.
Governor I' am annoyed and unwilling.to accept the fact that it is taking j
eight months or longer to make a judgement in this regard. I find it further frustrating when I try to speak with your Assi6 tant Counsel. With all the phone calls I have logged to her office, I have never spoken to her once al-though that was my intention and she has never returned my phone calls and I,see that as her responsibility if not a common curtesy.
It is apparent to me that I am now recieving the' SAME COLD UNCARING TREATMENT l
FROM YOUR OFFICE AS I RECIEVED FROM THE NEW YORK POWER AUTHORITY. You should note Governor that that is how this whole matter originated in the first place.
Regarding the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant in Buchanan, New Yotk I had submitted written proposals to my superiors in the PoweE Authority on more than l
l one occassio'n, calling to their attention my concerns in the area of nuclear 1
I security,' safety and fire protection. I discussed how those concerns would
-effect my fellow employees along with the public health, safety and interest.
l In those matters more'than a year had passed without any responses.
How i
i long must one wait in order to ensure nuclear plant safety and security? That I
is why on fu'ly 2nd, 1982,!as a last avenue of expression, I decided to go public and' testify as a surpri e witness before the United States Atomic Safety and 9
Licensing Commission.

'I i2 The rest Governor is a mixture of history and mystery. What continues to puzzle me is; why was my car sabotaged at Indian Point? Why was my employment terminated? (The record is in dispute) And why'am I now recieving a run around from the highest office in the state???
LWritten reply requested!'
