UNIMPLEMENTED UNRESOLVED SAFETY ISSUES AT CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 On October 19, 1989 the stuff issued Generic Letter (GL) 89-21 which requested
_information concerning the status of implementation of unresolved safety issues (USIs) at your facility.
Based on your response to this GL, dated November: 27, 1989, our review of Agency records and discussions between your staff and the NRC Project Manager, the NRC staff has compiled the enclosed list representing our assessment of USI implementation. These results were presented to the Commission at a meeting on February 14, 1990. to this letter presents the staff understanding of the current status of all animplemented USIs for Calvert Cliffs, Units 1 and 2.
The staff encourages your effort to corsplete the unimplemented USIs.
