This refers to'the inspection conducted by Mr. R. A. Caldwell of this office

and other accompanying personnel during the period October 23 - November 1,

c1989, of activities authorized by NRC Construction Permits CPPR 126 and

CPPR 127L (thits 1 and 2) for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, and to

.the discussion of our findings with members of your staff at the conclusion of ~

the inspection.

The inspection reviewed certain areas of your physical security program and

included the; security.. accountability exercise that was conducted on October 27,

,

'

1989. Within these areas,~the inspection consisted of selective examination of

'

procedures and representative records., interviews' with personnel, and

observations by.the NRC-inspectors.

The areas inspected and the inspection

findings are documented in the enclosed inspection report.

lWithin the scope _of the inspection, no violations or deviations were

identified.--
