Crystal River Unit 3 Docket No. 50-302 Operating License No. DPR-72 Technical Specification Change Request No. 71
Dear Sir:
Enclosed are three (3) originals and forty (40) copies of Technical Specification Change Request No. 71, requesting an amendment to Appendix A of Operating License No. DPR-72. Proposed replacement pages are attached as part of this request.
This change provides clarification of Technical Specification 3.3.3.6 which gives a more precise statement of the Post-Accident Instrumentation Limiting Condition for operation.
This will eliminate possible differences in interpretation.
In addition, Table 3.3-10 was modified to bring the Crystal River Unit 3 Technical Specifications more in line with the Babcock and Wilcox Standard Technical Speci-fications.
Florida Power Corporation considers Change Request No. 71 to be a class III amendment per 10CFR170.22 as it involves a single safety issue.
The license fee in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000) and a single copy of Certificate of Service for Technical Specification Change No. 71 to the Chief Executive of Citrus county, Florida, are enclosed.
