Dear Mr. Denton:
The Atomic Safer / and Licensing Board (ASLB) has distributed reports from its seismic consultants to each of the parties in the proceeding. These documents are designated as the Joyner-Fletcher Report, the Trifunac Report, and the Luco Report.
South Carolina Electric & Gas Company, acting for itself and as agent for South Carolina Public Service Authority, has reviewed the.Joyner-Fletcher and Trifunac Reports and herewith submits forty-three (43) copies each of our evaluations entitled " Applicant Evalection--Joyner-Fletcher Report" and
" Applicant Evaluation--Trifunac Report." Copies of these evaluations are con-currently being submitted tv Dr. Andrew Murphy of the NRC Geoscience Research Division, to Dr. Phyllis Sobel of the NRC Geoscience Branch, and to Dr. Carl Newton of Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory.
Since the Luco Report was only recently received, our review of that report is not complete. Upon completion, we will provide our evaluation of this report as well.
Since these evaluations deal with the seismic issues under litigation at the ASLB Hearings, additional copies are being distributed to the service list in that proceeding.
