BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - LACK OF INTERNAL PURGE ON TWO WELDS IN CHEMICAL ADDITION AND BORON RECOVERY SYSTEM - NCR 1171 - S_IXTH INTERIM REPORT The a t.jact nonconformance was initially reportad to NR';--01E Inspector J. D. wilcox on April 17, 1180, in accordance with 10 Cet 50.55(e).
Interim repoets were cubmitted on tiay 16, June 3, July 23, and December 1, 1sSO, and June 24, 1981. TVA is continuing rework of the accessible welds having evidence of lack of ptmge. TVA is rey?, ewing the proposed corrective action for the embedded and inaccessible welds.
We expect to submit our next written report by November 27, 1981.
