Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
Our previous response oa this subject dated Febu:a;y 16, 1981, stated that our review of this problem had indicated that no yokes for active valves were supplied to Virgil C. Summer from Malcolm Foundry. However, as pointed out by an NRC inspector, IEB 80-21 was concerned with valve parts as well as yokes supplied by Malcolm Foundry.
South C2rolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) has revicted this problem again and confirmed that no Malcolm Foundry parts or yokes h.wa been utilized for active valves at Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station. T$:iv is a final report on the subject bulletin.
