SUMMARY

OF PLANT OPERATIONS 8-1 to 8-5 Continuous operation at 100% power. Performed routine surveillance and preventive maintenance.

8-6 Low oil level alarm on "A" Reactor Coolant Pump 1715 Reducing power to 70%

2230 Reactor power at 70%--holding 8-7 0200 Started decreasing power at 10 MW/ min to add oil to Reactor Coolant Pump 0256 Turbine taken off line 0702 Began increasing reactor power 1043 Main unit paralled 1538 Reactor / Turbine Trip 2033 Reactor Critical 8-8 0012 Closed OCB's, began increasing reactor power 1825 Reactor at 100% power 8-9 to 8-12 Continous operation at 100% power. Performed routine surveillance and preventive maintenance.

8-13 0202 Received high vibration alarm on main turbine bearing #9 0315 Received high vibration alarm on main turbine bearing #4 0320 Reducing power and shuting plant down due to high turbine bearing vibration 0354 Opened OCB's and tripped turbine 0411 Holding reactor at approximately 5% power 2040 RCS in cold shutdown 8-14 to 8-31 Cold shutdown due to disabled turbine 0$0000fg PDR
