, - co LER ATI'ACHMENT - RO # 2-81-88 Facility: BSEP Unit No. 2 Event Date: 8-11-81 This event cccurred as a result of moisture accumulation in the electromagnetic unit of the 1263-2 analyzer which preven;ed adjustment of th, unit ancf a the calibrat ton of the analyzer. As presently designei, the analyzer sample piping configuration allot,a excess moisture to build up in the piping and components it comes in contact with; in this case the electromagnetic unit.

Due to a history of similar events resulting f rom m.vture and component failure problems, a plant modification has been developed to replace these type analyzers with others of a more reliable design. In addition, the sample piping to these analyzers will be raodified to climinate the sample flow moisture p rob l en,.
