Your Fil e l' umber 46-6690RA Efforts were made to contact the alleger in the matter refcrred to us by your letter of february 15, 1978, h*e received confirmation that he received our messages to contact this office so that we could follow-up on his concerns regarding the Hayward-Tyler Pump Company; however, the individual has not contacted this off. ice.
Consequently, we have requested our personnel who perform inspections at vendor facilities to conduct an inspection of the Hayward-Tyler facilities in Burlington, Vermont and to examine, in particular, the areas of QA/QC inspections, material preparation, radiography and appropriate record keeping.
The re.;ults of our inspection at the Hayward-Tyler Pump Company will be placed in the Public Document Room and any corrective actions required will be taker. in accordance with NRC requirements.
