- While the plant was in steady state operatior, at '2121 MWt, the Drywell-and Torus Temperature. Recorder, 2T47-R627, was found inoperative.

Tech' Specs Section 3.3.6.4 requires two operable channels. The redundant recorder was operable.

Plant operation was' placed'in a 30 day LCO as r

a' result of this event. The health and safety of the public was not affected. This event is. repetitive as last-reported on Reportable Occurrence Report No. 50-366/1981-047.

4 The cause of this event has been attributed to component failure.. The logic-board was found defective.

The board was replaced,' the recorder recalibrated and retur.md to service. A similar model recorder by the same vendor is used on Unit ~I.
