Fuel Load Date for La _Salle County Station, Unit No.1 At a 'ecent La Salle site visit during the period of July 20 - 23, 1981,,
see aclosed memorandus, it was brought to our attention that Connonwealth -
Edison was making.only slow progress in completing construction of its security system and in turn accomplishing final testing of the system.
Your proposed schedule as indicated at the site visit projected partial completion of construction and system installation by September 15, 1981, your official fuel load date, and complete implementation of the system by late fall. This area of concern is very critical, and we must-have these systems in place by fuel load date. Therefore, we request that within 15 days of the date of this letter (a copy of this letter will be telecopied on this date), you advise us of your realistic fuel load date.
