Start, on B diesel generator, the Bthe standby servz)ce water temperature.

It was determined that system would not deliver rated flow to the B diesel, thus unable 'to comply with Tech Specs section 3.7.1.2.C.

The standby service water system was declared inoperative, and B D/G was aligned to Unit 1 plant service water per Tech Specs section 3.7.1.2, action A.4.

Investigation revealed foreign matter was blocking _ flow into the pump. ' Divers were sent into the intake structure suction pit, and the debris was removed.

An inspection of the traveling water screens revealed damaged areas where debris could ' enter.

Work is underway to repair the screens.

The pump was examined, and no damage was found.

Subsequently the pump was retested satisf actorily and returned to service.

The unit is now in full compliance, and no furth-er action or reporting is required.
