Gentlemen:
s This refers to the telphone conversations between Mr. John Wallace of your staff and Mr. Carl J. Paperiello of our staff on July 2, 1981, regarding

your emergency. preparedness public education and information program. This area was one of the eight items relating to emergency preparedness that was I
addressed in our Immediate Action Letter to you dated June 22, 1981.
Based on the above discussion with Mr. Wallace and Mr. Joseph Lafleur, Director of Emergency Services, State of Wisconsin, we understand that the State of Wisconsin wants to issue a brochure on a state-wide basis which
)
will meet the requirements of the public information program.
These brochures will include site specific information for the reactor site in the particular Emergency Planning Zone in which it is being distributed.
Since we believe there is merit in the State's proposal to have a common brochure for the entire state and with the concurrence of Mr. Wallace, we concur in the proposal that the State of Wisconsin's brochure be distributed to the public.
From discussions with Mr. Lafleur we understand.that these bochure's will be available for distribution the week of August 10, 1981.
Therefore, the completion date for the public education and information program addressed in Item 2 of our June 22, 1981 letter is changed frem July 31, 1981 to August 20, 1981.
Mr. Lafleur has agreed to call us if there is any delay in the printing of the State brochures which will delay their availability beyond August 10, 1981.
