While at normal steady state power of 2357 MWt, the valve position indicating lights for the "B" Recirculating Pump Discharge Valve, 2831-F031B, was observed to be extinguished.

This valve is required to be operable per Tech Specs 3.4.1.1. There were no effects to sa fe plant operation nor to the public's health and safety due to this event.

The cause of the event was due to a blown fuse in the control circuit.

The integrity of the control circuit was verified and the control fase was replaced.

The valve was returned to service.

This is a non-repetitive event. A generic review revealed no inherent problems.
