Narrative

Repo.rt for LER 50-366/1981-040 While operating at 99% power the HCU accumulator low pressure alarm was received for Rod 46-23.

Personnel were dispatched to rccharge the accumulator.

Accumulator pressure had only decreased to approximately 900 psig when personnel arrived at accumulator. The accumulator was recharged to 1120 psig at 1815 4-23-81.

The Rod was returned to operable status at this time.

No further pressura decrease was noted through the remainder of the evening shift.
