Dear Mr. Hoffman:
The Commission has issued the encle' 1 Mendment No. 39 to Facility Operating License No. OPR-6 for the L.g Rock Point Plant. This amend-ment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your request dated October 1,1980.
This amendment incorporates in the Technical Specifications surveillance requirements for a new automatic isolation valve in the fire protection water spray system protecting the yard transformers.
Copies of our related Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance also are enclosed.
