20,.1989 through January 15,1990 at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station,

Plymouth, Massachusetts. Areas examined during this inspection are described-
in:the NRC-Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with-this letter.

The. Restart Staff,-through~ extended shift and routine program inspections,..ob-
served manageinent controls and the conduct of plant operations during full
power operation. Based on these reviews, our-Restart Staff determined that the
plant continues to be operated safely.
The conduct of plant operations during
full power operations was performed in a professional, safety-conscious manner.
