With your application dated January 24, 1990, you remitted a check for

$150..This application requested exemption from 10 CFR 50 Appendix R for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Unit Nos. I and 2.

The enclosed revisions to 10 CFR 170 that became effective on January 30, 1989, deleted the requirement for a $150 application fee for reacto~r applications and topical reports. Therefore, a $150 check does-not need to be remitted with future applications.

As an administrative convenience, we are not refunding the $150 to you.

Instead we will give credit for it when an invoice is issued for review of that application.

Let us know if this is not acceptable to you.
