NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-321/89-33 AND 50-366/89-33

This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted by

J. E. Menning and R. A Musser on November 25,.1989 to ' January 5,1990.

The.

inspection included a review of activities authorized for your Hatch facility.

At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those

members of your staff identified in the enclosed Inspection Report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the : report. Within

l

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures

and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of

activities in progress.

The inspection findings indicate that certain activities appeared to violate

NRC requirements.

However, because all' of the criteria for categorization of

non-cited violations were met, three violations are not being cited.

Therefors, no response to these items is required. The details. pertaining to

these non-cited violations are described in the enclosed Inspection Report.
