Areas reviewed during the inspection included licensee actions on prev
idertified items, audits and appraisals, external exposure control, control of

radioactive material, and your as low as reasonably achievable program. Your

corrective actions regarding the unplanned personnel exposure during Spent Fuel

Pool work on June 12
1989 were reviewed and are satisfactorily completed,

.therefore that open Item will be closed. The results of this inspection are
l
described in the enclosed report.
Within the sco>e of this inspection, two violations and one unresolved item were

. identified. Tie apparent violations are in the areas of adequacy of
.
radiological surveys and procedure adherence. The unresolved item relates to
l
apparent problems in performing required corporate and site audits of the
radiation protection program. The violations are described.in the enclosed
Appendix A Notice of Violation. You are required to respond to this Notice of
