89-006-493; 89 056 026 Attached please find a ' signed original and three controlled copies (Numbers 8-3, 8-4 'and 8-9) of Amendment 17, Revision 2 to the PVNGS Security Plan. - Amendment 17, Revision 2 provides clarification of information submitted in Amendment 17, Revision 1 regarding storage of Special Nuclear Material at
-PVNGS.
These copies contain replacement pages for the copies of the Security Plan currently held by the NRC.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4)(iii), we are. herewith forwarding two copies of Amendment 17, Revision 2 to the Regional Administrator of t+.e Region V office.
These changes art % :ag submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p) as a report of changes that O act decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
A summary of the submittal is attached.
This Amandment to the PVNGS Security Plan contains Safeguards Information which must be protected against unauthorized disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21 and is, therefore, to be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790(d). Please ensure that appropriate steps are taken to safeguard its contents.
