1 and 2), Docket Nos. 50-275 0.L. and 50-323 0.L.

Dear Sirs:

Pursuant to the Licensing Board's request during a conference call between the Board and parties to this proceeding, I have endeavored to pinpoint the dates when Revision 3 to the Applicant's Emergency Plan procedures and the analysis of the effect of an earthquake on emergency planning will be completed and submitted.

The earthquake analysis will be submitted to Pacific Gas and Electric Company by the TERA Corporation in final form during the week of August 31. Revision 3, however, will not be -

completed until the week of September 14. As the Board and parties know, there have been numerous discovery requests i directed at the Air! sant which have necessitated the same people l who are working on Revision 3 devoting their efforts to complying with the discovery requests. Answers to interrogetories sub-mitted by Joint Intervenors must be done by September 2, and documents must be produced by September 8 and 18. In any event, drafts of Revision 3 will be available by September 8 pursuant to an outstanding discovery request and the finally edited Revision 3 will be available by no'later than September 18.

! Respectf ully subdiitted, h 5 Bruce Norton Attorney for Applicant j
