d' 3.0 Envirenrental Cenclusion We have determined that the amendment dces not suthorize a change in effluent types or total amounts nce an increase in pcwer level and will not result In any significant environmental impact. Having made this determinatien, we have further concluded that the amendment involves an acticn whicn is insignificant from the standpoint of environmental impact and, pursuant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4), that an environmental im;act stateeent, or negative declaratien and enviren.

11 4.0 Conclusion We have concluded, based on the consideraticns discussed above that:

(1) because tht amendment does not involve a significant increase in the prcbability or consequences of accidents previously censidered and does not involve a significant decrease in a safety margin, the amencment does not involve's significant hazards consideraticn, (2) there is reascnable assurance that the health and safety of the public will not be endangered by c;eraticn in the pro csed manner, and (3) such-activities will be conducted in compliance with the Ccmmission's regulatices and the issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the common defense and security or to the health and safety of the public.
