Dear Mr. Linder:
This confirms our telephoned authorization given yesterday, March 19, 1981 for a change in Technical Specificaticns for Lacrosse Boiling Water Reactor as requested by your telecopy of March 19, 1981. Provisional Operating License No. DPR-45 is amended on this date by making the following technical-specification change.
Add an additional paragraph to Section 4.2.2.15:
Core spray pump 1B may be removed from service for up to one hour for maintenance of pressure switch 37-35-702. This provision shall be effective at 4:00 p.m. CDT May 19, 1981 and shall expire at 12:01 a.m. CDT on May 22, 1981.
Copies of the license amendment, our evaluation and Federal Register Notice for this technical specification change will be sent to you when completed.
