The reference letter transmitced the Supply System's response to a Notice of Violation containec in your letter dated April 29, 1981.
We would like to take this opportunity to correct information supplied to you in our letter of May 26, 1981. In this letter we stated in the " Corrective Steps Which Have Been laken To Avoid Further Violation", Item 2, that between April l'and April 21, 1981 no unqualified welds were performed. Contrary to this, unqualified welds were performed during this period on supports released to the field for installation. This matter is presently ur. der investigation. Upon completion of this investigation the _
subject unqualified welds will be ider.tified and reported on an NCR, as per Item 4 of " Corrective Steps Which Have Been Taken."
All other statements in our response are correct as stated.
