COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION - ALAMEDA COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. 81 ADOPTED JUNE 1, 1981 INTRODUCED BY COMMISSIONER GRIFFETH TULLY SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SID SUTHERLAND WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors Resolution' 190702 dated May 26, 1981 concerning the General Electric Facility at Vallecitos was referred.
to this Commission for comments; and WHEREAS,this Commission has reviewed the issue of reopening this facility
- subject to safety determinations by appropriate bodies in the context of land use planning programs in Alameda County; and WHEREAS hhis Commission has responded to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission request for comments on the scope of the EIS and significant issues related to the license renewal; Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED that this* Commission.does support the Board of Supervisors action to support the reopening of the General Electric Facility at Vallecitos subject to the safety deterrinations by the appropriate bodies.
