Subject: Combined Insection No. 50-277/80-18 and
50-278/80-10
This refers to your letter dated April 22, 1981, in response to our
letter dated April 2, 1981.
Thar.k you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions
documented in your letter. These actions will be examfned during a
future inspection of your licensed program.
On Page 2 of your letter dated April 22, 1981 the following statement
was made.
" Periodic alpha sampling of ai
particulate filters and loose
contamination smears is cow being performed"
It is our ur.derstanding that alpha sampling of air particulates and
smears shall be done quarterly,as stated by Mr. Gazda in a telephone
conversation on May 4, 1981.
On Page 3 of your letter dated April 22, 1981, the following statement
was made-
" Arrangements will be made to periodically calibrate our neutron
survey meters..."
It is our understanding that the neutron survey meters will be calibrated
annually,as stated by Mr. Gazda.
