Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414 Gentlemen:
This letter memorializes the statement I ma6e at our meeting of May 20, 1981 to the effect that I am the nephew of George Spiegel, a partner in the firm of Spiegel and McDiarmid, which is acting a. co-counsel to Piedmont Municipal Power Agency in this amendment action. The NRC's Office of the General Counsel has determined that I have no conflict of interest which would bar my participation in matters in which Spiegel and McDiarmid represents a party. Nevertheless, I believe it appropriate that this relationship be made a matter of record.
