Thank you for your letter of April 29, 1981, which requested discontinuation of your September 25, 1979 comitment to provide a Technical Superintendent -
Concrete to direct construction personnel in preplanning concrete placements.
Inasmuch as there are no large difficult concrete placements remaining to be ccmpleted at the Wolf Creek Project and qualified Civil Field Engineers will provide written instructions for concrete placements that recuire special preplanning, we concur with your request to discontinue the position of Technical Superintendent - Concrete.
We will continue to review your concrete placement activities during future NRC inspections.
