Narrative

Report for LER 50-366/1981-037 While operating at 95% power the HCU Accumulator low pressure alarm was received for Rod 46-23. This accumulator was not returned to operable status as required per Tech. Spec. section 3.1.3.5.a.1.

Personnel did not recognize this as an 8 hour9.259259e-5 days <br />0.00222 hours <br />1.322751e-5 weeks <br />3.044e-6 months <br /> LC0 and thus the re-quirenents of Tech. Spec. 3.1.3.5.a.1 were not complied with until 0810 4-17-81, 10 hours1.157407e-4 days <br />0.00278 hours <br />1.653439e-5 weeks <br />3.805e-6 months <br /> after the alarm was received.

Rod 46-23's accumulator was returned to operable status at 1000 4-17-81.

Personnel were admonished for not complying with Tech. Specs. in this incident.
