Gentlemen:
This refers to the meeting held by representatives of the Region IV staff
with the Mayor and other local officials of St. Franci:ville; the President
of the West Feliciana Police Jury and other Police Jury officials in St.
Francisville, on March 17, 1981, and the Baton Rouge City Manager and menbers
of the Baton Rouge City-Parish Council on March 18, 1981, regarding tne
assignment of A. S. Beach, Resident Insoector, to the River Bend Nuclear site
and to the discussion of communications with the NRC.
The attached report documents the general discussion at this meeting.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed
report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
