ARCO Petroleum Products Company (a division of Atlantic Richfield Company) would like to establish a Quality Assurance Program for a one-time use of GE 700 series shipping container to dispose of some encapsulated Cobalt-60. Enclosed is a copy of our proposed Quality Assurance Program, for which we are asking your approval.. Safety procedures and check lists wn, be prepared and submitted to the NRC for approval before use of the container.
We are having Hittman Nuclear handle the shipment for us, and would also like to be registered as a package user for this container.
