This refers to the routine safeguards inspection conducted by O. Moore of this

office on March 9-12, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC Operating License

Nos. DPR-71 and DPR-62 at Brunswick facility and to the discussions of our find-

ings held with you and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection included your physical security program as

implemented under the provisions of Title 10, Code of Federal Begulations, Part

73, " Physical Protection of Plants and Materials", and the specific requirements

of license conditions and your rpproved security Plan. ! chin these areas, the

inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative

records, interviews with personnel, performance tests, and observations by the

inspectors.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were disclosed.

We have examined actions you have taken with regard to previously identified

enforcement matters and unresolved items. The status of these items is discussed

in the enclosed report.

One unresolved item remains from a prior inspection and is discussed in the

enclosed report. This item will be examined during subsequent inspections.

In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2,

Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, activities involving safeguards and

security measures are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosed

inspection repart with the exception of the report cover page, which is an

inspection summary, will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
