II,i In the Matter of Public Service Company of New Hampshire, et al.

q, (Seabrook Station, Units 1 and 2) y Docket Nos. 50-443 and 50-444 Gentlemen:

When Dr. Trifunac's expert testimony was delivered to the Staff for further distribution last Monday, March 23rd, the undersigned Staff counsel noted that one original copy of testimony was submitted, which copy included four

]

graphs drawn in color pencil.

In order to avoid any delay in the distribution of the testimony, the testimony was distributed to the parties that day.

Nevertheless, the Staff has arranged for reproduction of the four graphs in color, and those reproduced charts are attached hereto.

~

In addition, reference is made to Appendix 1 to the Staff's profiled direct testimony which is comprised of NUREG/CR-1582, Volumes 2 and 3.

This

.n 2ndix consists of " Seismic Hazard Analysis," "A Methodology for the Eastern United States" (Volume 2) and " Solicitation of Expert Opinion" (Volume 3). A result of the application of that methodology as applied to the Seabrook site was included in " Figure 1" to the filed direct testimony of Leon Reiter, Ph.D.

The Staff has now received additional reference material for " Figure 1" and is also enclosing a copy of that reference material for informa tion.

Sincerely, h
