As required by the subject Bulletin, t~1e following is Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station's schedule for complying with the specific actions to be taken for Licensees holding Construction Permits:

Bulletin Item 1(a) - Virgil C. Sumrrer Nuclear Station will perform visual inspertions and " push-pull" testing on mechanical snubbers installed on safety related systems.

These tests will commence on approxi-mately July 1, 1981, and be completed by approx-imately August 21, 1981.

Bulletin Item 1(b) - Not applicable, since Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station has no INC snubbers.

Bulletin Item 1(c) - If any failures are identified in Item 1(a) above, corrective action will be taken prior to Fuel Load.

Bulletin Item 2

- The results of the inspections, testing, and eval-untion stated above shall be reported to the NRC within 30 days after the inspection and testing have been completed.

The report shall contain the following:

a.

A description of the visual examinations and tests performed, b.

Number of snubbers examined and tested, group-ing by manufacturer name, model number, and size.

c.

Number of failures identified, manufacturer name, model number, size, mode of failure, cause of failure, corrective action, and snubber location.
