Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
This letter is confirmation of a phone conversation with Mr. John K. Rausch of NRC Region II and Mr. J. A. Wactor, January 26, 1981.
It was reported to Mr. Rausch that the item reported to him as a potential significant deficiency under the topic " Failure to Inspect Conduit Supports" had been determined to be not reportable. The item was originally reported by phone December 2,1980, and an interim report was made by letter dated December 23, 1980.
The item involved a failure to inspect certain seismic designed conduit supports used on non-ssfety related conduits. The conduits involved have been inspected and it was determined that they would not fall and damage any safety related equipment.
This item is considered to be closed.
