This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. I. N. Jackiv of this
office on July 26-30, 1976, of activities at the Big Rock Point Nuclear
Power Plant authorized by NRC Reactor Operating License No. DPR-6 and to
the discussion of our findings with Mr. Abel at the conclusion of the
inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas enMned
-
during the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
a selective exa=ination of procedures and representative records, obser-
vations, and interviews with personnel.

During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in
,
noncompliance with NRC requirements, as described under Enforce ent
Items in thc Sum =ary c,f Findigs section of the enclosed inspection
report.
With regard to the item of nonco=pliance, the findings fro = this inspec-
tion indicate repetitive occurrences to those which had been identified
during previous NRC inspections conducted on January 5-8 and February 2-
6, 1976 (IE Inspection Report No. 050-155/76-03).
In addition to the priority attention which we expect you to devote to
the correction of the ites of nonco=pliance, we bring to your attention
that the following progra=s which you have endorsed in your facility
procedures have not been initiated yet.
