This refers to the meeting held at the NRC Region II Office on October 7, 1980,
at our request. This meeting related to activities authorized by license number
NPF-2 and was attended by members of Region II and Office of Nuclear Reactor
Regulation Staff, and Mr. Kingsley and other members of your staff.
IL7 rsubjects discussed at this meeting are included fu the inspection report which
is e.uclosed with this letter.
It is our opinion that this meeting was benefical. It has provided the necessary
understanding of the anticipated resolutions of the problems identified in the
first and second surveillance inspections of the Farley Unit I containment building
post-tensioning system.
In accordance v ch Sectiori 2.790 'of NRC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2, Title 10,
Code of Feder 1 Regulation, a copy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report
will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
No reply to this letter is required; however, should you have and questions
concerning this matter, we would be pleased to discuss them with you.
