Resident Inspection Report No. 50-309/89-22
This transmits the November 1 through December 11, 1989 routine inspection-
findings of Messrs. E. Leeds and R. Freudenberger at the Maine Yankee Atomic
Power Plant, Wiscasset,--Maine. 'Those findings have been discussed with
Mr. Blackmore of your staff.
During this inspection, plant operators were observed to exhibit good control
during power maneuvers. A high voltage switching error received significant
management attention.
The equipment relabeling program which is currently
underway was noted to significantly improve the ability to accurately identify
equipment for system status verification.
