through January 2,1990, of activities at- Davis-Desse ' Nuclear Power Statun

authorized by Facility Operating License No.-'NPF-3 and to the discussion of

our findings with Mr. L. Storz at the conclusion:of'the inspection.'

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas; examined during.

the inspection. Within these areas, the-inspection consisted of- a selective

examination of procedures and representative records,1 observations, and

{

interviews with personnel.

During this inspection, certain of your activities appearsd-to be in-violation

i

of NRC requirements, as specified'in the enclosed Notice.-- A~ written response

is required.

With regard to the violation discussed in Attachments.1 and 2

,

to this report, the inspection showed that actions.have been taken to correct

l

the identified violation and to prevent recurrence.

Consequently, no reply .to

this violation is required and we have no further questions regarding;this

matter at this time.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's~ regulations,.a copy of

this letter, the enclosures, and your response to' this' letter will:be.placed i_n

the NRC Public Document Room.
